What do you use on your natural stone?

Many are still using tap water to clean natural stone surfaces. Of course, it’s the safest thing to use if you have nothing else.  Many years ago, that’s all that was available.  Much has evolved in the last 10 years in the stone industry and there are now a wealth of products available which have been formulated specifically for use on natural stone surfaces. 

Only recently, have these products become widely available in Canada.  Some solutions come with built-in sealants for ongoing protection and many have enhancing properties to maintain the shine and lustre that is achieved through restoration. The key is to use a neutral PH-balanced cleaning agent specially formulated for use on natural stone surfaces.
